a) Hydrochloric acid is added to a solid sample of calcium carbonate.
b) Barium hydroxide reacts with nitric acid.
c) Boron tri chloride reacts with steam to produce boron tri hydroxide and hydrogen chloride. When calcium chloride solution is added to sodium carbonate solution in a beaker, the mixture quickly becomes cloudy because a precipitate of calcium carbonate forms. Calcium carbonate is insoluble in water. The equation for the reaction can be written as: CaCl2(aq) + Na2CO3(aq) → 2NaCl(aq) + CaCO3(s) Rewrite this equation as a full ionic equation.
