Part 3: Develop a workforce plan

 

The Workforce plan demonstrates your ability to implement initiatives to support workforce planning objectives. Using your research in Part 2, Develop a workforce plan that includes specific strategies to ensure your organisation has access to a skilled and diverse workforce.

Part 1: Presentation

 

You are the Human Resources manager for the organisation you nominated in Assessment Event 1.

 

In order to implement your workforce plan, you must first:

  • Communicate the objectives of the workforce plan and provide the rationale for these to relevant stakeholders
  • Convey information using language, format and style appropriate to your audience
  • Seek feedback and obtain agreement and endorsement for objectives and establish targets

 

To complete this part of the assessment, you are required to present the information you have researched and developed to the group, answering any questions they might have and displaying positive communication and non-verbal skills.

 

The presentation will be observed by your assessor, or the student can digitally record it and submit as evidence. (Video upload instructions in Appendix 1)

 

The duration of your presentation should be between 15 and 20 minutes. Your presentation must include:

 

  1. A PowerPoint (or similar) presentation of 10 – 20 slides or content pages.
  2. Presenting yourself in a professional manner and conveying information using language, format and style appropriate to your audience. Introduce stakeholders to convey the relevance of participation.

  4. Based on your response to Part 3 question 5e in the project assessment AE1, provide a summary of the survey findings relating to organisational climate used to gauge employee satisfaction. Your contingency plans and recommendations must address:
