CHCADV002 Assessment task 3: Work placement tasks

 

Required documents and equipment:

  • Work placement log book including attendance log for work placement (will be provided by the

Instructions for students:

These work placement tasks will be undertaken in a community care setting approved by the RGIT Placement Coordinator ensuring it has sufficient equipment and resources as defined in the assessment criteria. You will be provided with access to the workplace policies and procedures, forms, case notes and equipment provided by the workplace (work placement venue). Trainers will liaise with the workplace supervisors and ensure they are adequately briefed about the work placement requirements including the tasks you are required to complete to demonstrate skills and knowledge for each unit of competency.

 

You will be required to demonstrate required skills and knowledge during your work placement.

 

The workplace assessor will ensure that you have access to adequate equipment, policies and procedures and are supervised by a workplace supervisor who will verify you have completed the required tasks by confirming and signing tasks recorded in the work placement logbook.

 

The student must comply with the COVID-19 Regulations

 

Ensure the student wears the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the workplace.
